Are you looking to speed up your ordering process? We have a simple solution for all Shopify users. Below are the details in setting up your Shopify storefront and forwarding print order to American Color Labs automatically.
Shopify
The changes needed are minor and within your Settings and Product pages. These changes will simply send an email notification to us that includes the following information:
- Your order number,
- Items to be fulfilled (varient, sku, & qty. Pricing is NOT included),
- Shipping Address,
- Shipping Method,
- Customer email
We will run a card we keep on file when the order is completed, then will notify you (and only you) when the order is ready for pick up or shipped, where you can then update your order status for your customer.
We will not have any access to your site, and will not receive order notifications of items sold that are not deemed for us to fulfill - even if there are multiple items on a single order. For example, if you sell an original painting and a print on the same order, we only receive the fulfillment notification email for the print (or the variants you choose).
Step-by-Step Instructions
Below are the instructions to get us setup as an automatic vendor through Shopify. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
- go to: Settings > Shipping;
scroll down to Additional Shipping Options section.
Click Custom Order fulfillment, and enter
Name: American Color Labs; Email: michele@aclaustin.com
- go to: Setting > Checkout;
scroll to Order Processing section.
Select "Auto Fulfill the Order's line items"
Uncheck the two boxes below. This is optional, however we recommend unchecking both.
When adding new products that you expect ACL to fulfill all variants, be sure to select "American Color Labs" as the preferred Fulfillment Service under the Shipping section
To update existing products, navigate to Products, check the products you want to update, click Update Products. This takes you to a bulk edit screen. Be sure to select the following fields: Title, SKU, Fulfillment Service. Update all variants as needed. You can change multiple items at a time by selecting the drop down, hold shift, and select another further down the list. Once multiple items are selected, click the drop down arrow to update the option.
